K Laser Therapy
What is K Laser?
K-Laser therapy is an effective drug free, non-surgical and well-known safe and painless treatment option for pain management. The high-powered state of the art Laser is a class 4 laser which uses different wavelengths of light to assist in promoting blood flow to the area and repairing damaged tissue. The K-Laser can be used to treat various low limb conditions in the foot, leg, and knee. The laser is used but not limited to the treatment and reduction of pain/inflammation, swelling, arthritis, neurological pain and excellent for wound healing.
How does K-Laser work?
The K-Laser used 4 different laser beams at different depths and wavelengths which each wavelength having its own function in order reduce pain, inflammation and promote healing. The laser targets the damaged issue (muscles, tendons, ligaments) with a specific wavelength of light. As the light penetrates through the skin into the cell, photobiomodulation is established. Photobiomodulation results in the:
- Increases blood circulation to the treated area.
- increases cells oxygenation.
- increased ATP (energy carrying molecule) production.
- Release of endorphins.
- Release of collagen.
The K-Laser is able to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, boost cell oxygenation, and increase energy production. The aim is to improve healing as well as reduce pain and swelling.
