Diabetic foot assessment Liverpool
If you have wounds on your feet that don’t heal, let us take a look at it and stop it from getting much worse. We’ll carry out the following in knowing more about your feet’s condition:
- A full neurovascular assessment of the feet (assessing blood flow using a doppler)
- A test on the nerve sensation in the feet using a 10gram monofilament and 128Hz vibrating tuning fork
- An observational assessment of the skin and nails looking for potential pressure areas, wounds and maceration
- A risk status report based on the findings
- Referrals to GP and other health professionals
We’ll also try to learn more about your history so we can get a more comprehensive assessment. This way, we can create a truly personalised and optimal treatment or management plan for you.
